How do I care and clean macrame?

How to keep your macrame looking its best:

  • Spot/hand wash anyway you would normally wash cotton
  • Lay flat or hang to air dry completely
  • Avoid soaking or machine washing
  • Store away from direct sunlight to preserve color
  • Gently reshape by hand if needed after use

With normal use, your macrame will naturally become softer over time. Each piece is made with single strand cord, you may occasionally notice a single strand becoming visible. This is completely normal and nothing to worry about.
